Terms & Conditions
Check-in takes place on Fridays upon arrival, and check-out takes place on Sundays upon departure.
All prices include VAT. Prices also include city tax (gistináttagjald), if collected by the Icelandic Government.
Cancellation Policy
Bookings may be cancelled free of charge up to 10 days prior to arrival by email to info@hotelflatey.is.
Cancellations made less than 10 days before arrival are non-refundable, and the full booking amount will be charged. In the case of a no-show, the full amount of the reservation will also be charged.
Payment for the full stay will be charged 10 days prior to arrival.
The accommodation is rented as private group accommodation, and specific cancellation terms may apply depending on the booking agreement. Please contact Hotel Flatey for further details.
These general terms and conditions apply to all accommodation and services provided by Hotel Flatey. The booking agreement comes into effect once a reservation request has been confirmed through the booking system.
Hotel Flatey is committed to handling all personal information provided by guests in full confidence. Personal information will never be shared with third parties. Guest information may be used through the property management system for booking-related communication and guest services. Guests may request deletion of their personal information at any time.
This agreement shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Iceland. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be settled in the District Court of Reykjavík.
Accommodation Information
The accommodation capacity is limited to the number of guests stated for each accommodation unit on the website. Breakfast is not included.
Pet Policy
Pets are not allowed on Flatey Island.
Accepted Credit Cards
Visa, Euro/MasterCard, Diners Club, and Maestro.
Force Majeure
Hotel Flatey cannot be held liable for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, weather conditions, transportation disruptions, natural disasters, government actions, civil disturbances, or other force majeure events.
